About Oakwood Education

Oakwood Education is a specialist alternative provision led by professionals with over 20 years’ experience in special educational needs. We work closely with Local Authorities, schools, and multi-agency teams to support young people with ASD, ADHD, emotional-based school avoidance, mental health challenges, and high supervision needs.

Our personalised programmes combine therapeutic, activity-based learning with academic support, using outdoor education, sport, art, and land based activities to boost engagement, wellbeing, and confidence. Through real-world experiences, young people develop resilience, practical skills, and a sense of achievement.

Alongside this, we provide tailored Maths and English support to help learners gain essential qualifications and prepare for future education, training, or employment.
